All Saints Perpetual Adoration Chapel

What is adoration, and why should you go? Adoration is quiet prayer with Jesus who is visible, exposed and truly present in the Host in the monstrance. It is a statement of your faith in His true presence in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration is prayer. It is a very personal prayer of thanks, worship, petition. And silence. It is being with Him and listening to Him. It is an act of love for Him.

What do you do while you are in there? Just walk in, kneel down and start to pray. Any silent prayer is good. Some people read the Bible or other religious book, pray the rosary, or just look at Him. Talk to Him. Listen to Him. Most stay for one hour. Some stay for a half hour, an some stay for 5 minutes. Any time spent with Him will change you and bring you closer to Him. You can't sit in the sun and not get a tan.

How do you sign up? To sign up for a specific hour of Adoration, call 815-385-LORD (5673). Many more people are needed to fill the 168 hours of adoration offered each week. If you can't commit to one hour, still go. See you at All Saints Perpetual Adoration Chapel.

Mass Schedule

First Reconciliation and First Communion

We prepare for these two sacraments in the Second Grade. The whole year is spent focusing on these sacraments and the Sacrifice of the Mass. If a child is registered who is in 3rd grade and has not received these sacraments, they will be put into a Second Grade class for the year. The following year they will go into 4th grade with their own age group.

Children from 4th to 8th grade attend supplemental classes in addition to their grade group Religious Education classes. Contact the Religious Education office for more information.

There is a retreat for parents and students held on a Saturday morning for each of the sacraments. This is a time of story telling, interaction with Father Sherry, crafts, practice for the sacraments and a special meal.

There are options of days and times for both of the sacraments. Forms are mailed to the parents and they may choose which day and time they wish to receive the sacraments with their children. Parents are encouraged to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist as a family.
